Lessons

Far Well Farm offers horse riding instruction for children and adults, from beginner to advanced in a relaxed private setting. Our horse trainers and instructors have over 30 years experience in Hunt Seat, Equitation, Jumpers, and Dressage. Whether you are a competitive rider or a first time rider with a love for horses, we can design a riding lesson program tailored to your ability and goals. Individual and group riding lessons are available on our horses or yours.

Our facilities include both indoor and outdoor riding arenas which allows us to provide both a safe controlled environment for our beginners in the indoor arena and an outside arena complete with jumping course for the more advanced riders and horses.

Each rider is matched with the horse appropriate for his or her riding ability. Students will be taught basic grooming, tacking up and handling of the horse. Riding helmet/hard hat & appropriate riding boots with heels are required.

We also offer programs that combine training the horse and rider. Please call for pricing and specifics.

We participate in both local and regional shows almost every weekend which all our students are invited to join us. We can provide horses for the shows or you can bring your own along with us. See the show schedule page on our web site for the specific shows we will be attending.

Boarder lessons are provided at reduced rates.
